Remote Lab Access
This section contains information on how to remotely access Extreme Networks® switches referred to and used in our technical training courses. Switches are available to you in three configurations, from a simple single switch, through a set of switches, to the structured lab architecture used in the instructor-led training courses and for the ENS certification exam.
Select the option that is right for you to learn and practice ExtremeXOS® commands and Extreme Networks switch and network configuration.
Single Switch (Complimentary)
We provide you with access instructions and a list of things to do to get you started with ExtremeXOS. There are currently four switches available for access on a first come, first served basis. This process is explained in the access instructions below.
Networked Switches (Sandbox – Fee $65 USD per hour and Registration Required)
Purchase and register for time on a set of four Extreme Networks switches that are pre-cabled. Once you register and schedule your time, you will be provided with a password, a wiring diagram, and some activities to try on this switch set.
Structured Lab (Classroom Setup – Fee $100 USD per person per day, minimum 4 people and Registration Required)
Purchase and register for time on one of the classroom equipment sets. This can be reserved by an instructor and proctor to teach an ENA or ENS course to prepare you for the certification exam. Alternately, you can purchase time yourself to practice the lab exercises from the ENS course to review for your ENS certification examination.
