Altitude 350-2
Altitude 350-2 Access Point
Altitude 350-2 is a dual-radio access point (AP) that supports simultaneous operation of 802.11a and 802.11g/b wireless networks. Used with Summit® WM series switches for centralized management and control, Altitude 350-2 is ideal for large-scale wireless deployments where high-performance voice-grade cross-subnet roaming and availability are required.
Altitude 350-2 comes in two models. Altitude 350-2i has two internal dual band omni-directional antennas. Altitude 350-2d is equipped with two RP-SMA connectors for external antennas and comes with a set of two dual band omni-directional paddle antennas. Both models support antenna diversity for better performance, particularly in challenging multi-path environments. Altitude APs are managed centrally by Summit WM controllers while enabling user traffic to be bridged locally at the AP or tunneled to the controller.
- AccessAdaptâ„¢ makes it simple to install Altitude 350s in the same building, in another facility, or on the other side of the country. Dynamic Radio Management assures continuous Radio Frequency (RF) coverage 24 hours a day.
- Supports high-performance Voice over Wireless LAN with fast, Layer 3 roaming, hardware-accelerated encryption, over-the-air Quality of Service (QoS) and highly-available self-healing radio coverage
- Provides comprehensive security with Directory-integrated link security, a rich set of authentication and access control options and wireless intrusion detection
