401(k)

The 401(k) plan gives employees an excellent opportunity to set aside pre-tax money for retirement. Participants elect to defer a percentage of their income through payroll deduction and deposit it into a wide selection of funds at their discretion.

Employee Stock Options

The Company offers Stock Options that vest 25% after one year of employment, with the remaining 75% vesting in 36 equal monthly increments thereafter.

Employee Stock Purchase Plan

Extreme provides employees with an opportunity to acquire a proprietary interest in the Company through the purchase of stock. Purchases are made through accumulated, post-tax payroll deductions. Stock is purchased at the end of each Purchase Period, four times per year. The price is discounted 15% from the lower price on either the first day or the last day of the three (3) month Purchase Period.

Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts

Extreme offers Flexible Spending Accounts which allow you to set aside pre-tax income to help you prepare for eligible unreimbursed medical expenses and dependent daycare expenses. We offer a generous employer contribution to your Health Care FSA account.

Flexible Time Off

FTO is intended to provide employees with time away from work for relaxation, recreation, or illness without loss of pay or benefits.

Vacation Rewards

In appreciation of continued service with the company, after employees reach completion of their 4th, 8th, and 12th years of employment with Extreme Networks, employees are eligible for an FTO Rewards Bonus of an additional 10 days paid time off. Although these two additional weeks may be used for any reason of your choice, they can only be used during the 5th, 10th and 14th year of employment at Extreme, respectively.

Holidays

Employees enjoy 12 paid holidays per year, 10 company designated days, 1 floating holiday and the employee’s birthday.
